Minimal tools needed - To install our crown molding kits, you’ll simply need a handsaw, a screw gun, tape measure, a pencil and safety glasses. You may also need a drill, paint brush, and caulk gun if you decide to paint or caulk the crown molding.
Crown Moldings are Polyurethane - Each of our crown molding style featured in our kits are made from polyurethane, which is a durable high-density foam. Polyurethane foam is known for being more moisture and insect resistant than other types of crown molding.
A molding kit for a range of room sizes - We offer 3 kit sizes, which accommodate rooms up to 13’x13’, 13’x20’ and 20’x20’. We also offer corner kits for rooms with outside corners.
Numerous widths of moldings - Our kits feature designs that range from 4 ⅛” to 6 ½” and suit a wide range of preferences.
Easily paint or stain - The polyurethane components of our kits come primed and ready to paint, stain, or faux finish. While not necessary, adding a finish completes a customized look. Some users have noted the ease of using spray paint for this step!

Caulking not required - While caulking is not necessary step of the installation process, many users have caulked it to prevent small gaps between the wall or ceiling and molding for houses that are out of plum.

Installing A DIY Crown Molding Kit
Decorative wood molding undoubtedly brings a nice look, but can require complicated installation skills. Between multiple tools, precise cuts on your angles and seams, and tedious placements, you'll find yourself frustrated for days trying to secure the perfect look, or even hiring a professional to complete the job. Our patented snap-on crown molding system aims to eliminate all of that struggle while maintaining a high degree of quality. Installation is a snap, literally! Installing the clips requires no nails, which means you won't have to fill the holes at the junctions or the corners, and it also eliminates the need to touch up the walls later. You also won't have to worry about locating studs for support, which can be a time-consuming task. Instead, you can quickly screw in the Quick Clips™ to the drywall or plaster in approximately 10-12" intervals.
Once the Quick Clips™ are installed, trim your foam molding pieces (bonus! our Molding Mates™ allow for a 2-3” margin of error) and begin snapping them into place. Start at the corners to ensure the measurements line up correctly, and then press them firmly to engage with the Quick Clips™. Voila, snap on crown molding!
