hallways

Your home's hallways might not be the focus your renovation efforts, but they can play a significant role in the flow of your household.

If you've implemented crown molding throughout other parts of your house, then you can use Focal Point's kits to create beautiful connections between the rooms. We offer 4 different styles of crown molding that can be used in your hallways.  With the styles we offer, you're sure to find a molding that will look great in your home.

Crown Molding Kits for Hallways

When people walk through your house, don't you want them to feel enthralled everywhere they go?

Implementing crown molding can breathe life into your hallways. Our products add marked contrast, and they sit on the ceiling as a way to balance out the other elements. They don't get in the way, either, like pictures and decorations might. Our polyurethane moldings hold paint remarkably well, which means you can customize them to fit your scheme and style as necessary.

Even on its own, our molding produces a clean, professional look that outclasses other alternative options while rivaling traditional materials like wood and plaster. Overall, polyurethane is durable, lightweight and much easier to cut and handle when compared to most other options on the market.

You can carefully shape it with common tools to meet your dimensional requirements, as well as to work around vents and windows.

We focus on making our products more friendly for DIYers, which led to the rise of our patented system that includes Quick Clips™ and Molding Mates™. The clips quickly install using a screw, or two for corner pieces, and they provide a sturdy mount for the moldings. After a few quick taps, your new molding will attach right into place.

You can then use the Molding Mates™ to conceal a margin of up to 4", which eliminates the need for precision cutting — the same process that can drive even the most experienced carpenters up the wall.

What CRown Molding Do We Recommend For YOur Hallway?

We've designed four different molding models, which vary in look and size.

Smaller kits typically fit in with narrower hallways, while wider moldings scale in proportion with wider hallways. It all comes down to personal preference. You might make your decision based off of style or the moldings in other rooms — for instance, you might want all of the pieces to match from room to room, which creates more consistency.

Two of our products, the "Acropolis" and the "Concord Dentil," measure at 4 1/8" wide. These moldings are also more ornate, which fits into archetypes that value character and charm.

Large hallways would make better use of the "St. James" and the "Governor's Palace," which measure at 6 1/4" and 6 1/2", respectively. The cleaner lines and sophisticated designs make them more of a general-purpose item.
