Sometimes, the little details can make the best impressions on guests and visitors, and that's especially true in the kitchen.

Backsplashes, cabinet hardware and other smaller features contribute to your overall aesthetic, but crown moldings can enhance your kitchen's style, too. If you want an accessible, DIY method, Focal Point Products produces multiple lines of faux crown moldingthat match with different looks while remaining durable and easy to install.  Our crown molding kits include everything a DIYer will need (minus a few common household tools) to successfully install crown molding in their kitchen in just an afternoon.

Our DIY crown molding is Great for Kitchens

Our products make for ideal fits in the kitchen for various reasons.  The polyurethane material creates a professional, refined look that mimics wood and plaster. It's much more affordable than those latter two options, too, and you don't have to sacrifice quality, either. The polyurethane is much more durable than other foam options on the market, such as styrofoam, and its resistance to moisture and other forms of corrosion give it an advantage in the kitchen.

You can easily cut the foam crown molding strips to scale as well, which allows you to meet the size and length requirements of your kitchen dimensions.  Our moldings can be painted as you see fit, which means matching the rest of your kitchen color scheme has never been more convenient.

Our patented installation system, which applies to every crown molding  style we offer in a kit, also provides you with some versatility in how you approach the process. You can place them like traditional moldings on the ceiling or you could implement them into the cabinetry tops.

The Quick Clips™ can fit anywhere with one screw to keep them firmly in place. They hold better than caulking, and they're completely hidden behind the molding strips — unlike some moldings that require nails driven through the face. After tapping to attach them, you can cover the exposed joints with our Molding Mates™ to form a seamless appearance.

What Kits Do We Recommend?

When looking at crown molding for kitchens, you can choose between four different kits when shopping with Focal Point.  See our different styles below.

For smaller kitchens, you'll want moldings that are more narrow, as models that are too large can take over the room and feel overbearing. Two of our products — the "Acropolis" and the "Concord Dentil" — measure at 4 1/8" to fit in tastefully with these types.

Our other two options — the "St. James" and the "Governor's Palace" — measure at 6 1/4" and 6 1/2", respectively, to fit in larger kitchens that require bigger proportions.
